In 2003, seeking more flexibility than the corporate world could provide, Julie began the entrepreneurial life as a Virtual Assistant but soon began managing projects, vendors, and work teams while working with some of the top marketers in the online business world.
Julie was a valuable member of Ali Brown’s team at Ali International for more than 5 years and served as the company’s project manager helping to grow the business to a multi-million dollar business named to the 2009 *Inc. 500* an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
Over the years, Julie has learned what it takes to promote and grow a business online. She has a vast knowledge of Internet marketing and the how-to behind it, and knows firsthand how to develop automated marketing systems to streamline a business; and how to create and promote multiple streams of income.
Today, Julie is pursuing her passion of coaching to help others stretch and grow personally, professionally, and as leaders. But as the founder of NetMarketing Navigator, she works with coaches and entrepreneurs to create an outstanding brand and online presence, as well as put all the marketing pieces together into a simple, repeatable system.
Prior to starting her own business, Julie enjoyed a 12 year career in Human Resources Management in the financial services and mortgage industries; working in areas including benefits, employee relations, recruiting, corporate training, and information systems. During this time she earned a Masters degree and also taught training and development at a local university.
She lives in Des Moines, Iowa, with her husband, four kids, and one impossible (but lovable) dog.
