Julie Smith is a marketing strategist and coach whose NetMarketing Navigator brand is dedicated to simplifying the online marketing process and empowering entrepreneurs and small business owners with simple, step-by-step tools and actions they can begin to use immediately to grow their business and draw in more leads, more clients, and more income.
Ten years ago, seeking more flexibility than the corporate world could provide, Julie began the entrepreneurial life as a Virtual Assistant but soon began managing projects, vendors, and work teams as her clients businesses grew, working with some of the top marketers in the online business world.
Julie was a valuable member of Ali Brown’s team at Ali International for more than 5 years and served as the company’s project manager helping to grow the business to where it is today…a multi-million dollar business named to the 2009 *Inc. 500* an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
Over the years, Julie has learned what it takes to promote and grow a business. She has a vast knowledge of Internet marketing and the how-to behind it, and knows firsthand how to develop automated marketing systems to streamline a business; and how to create and promote multiple streams of income.
Today, Julie is the founder of NetMarketing Navigator and works with small business owners who get frustrated and stuck in the “how-to” of marketing. She provides coaching and consulting to help them create a marketing plan, and learn how to set up simple to use automated marketing systems that will help grow their business to new levels.
Prior to starting her own business, Julie enjoyed a 12 year career in Human Resources Management in the financial services and mortgage industries; working in areas including benefits, employee relations, recruiting, corporate training, and information systems. During this time she earned a Masters degree and also taught training and development at a local university.
She lives in Des Moines, Iowa, with her husband, four kids, and one impossible (but lovable) dog.
